Since September 2018 the Municipality of Trento organized a series of informal meetings with its citizens in the main squares, high schools and in each neighborhood of the city. The “Trento Smart City Labs” are intended to illustrate the smart services that are or will be available in Trento and have successfully reached out to roughly 1800 people so far. Mobility services are the most popular with the citizens who showed particular interest for the QROWD project and its ability to provide smart solutions for sustainable mobility in general and parkings in particular. Most people think it is a good idea to participate in the QROWDLab – a set of studies carried out to test an innovative solution to calculate the modal split – and have expressed their appreciation for the city dashboard developed thanks to the QROWD project. Four more meetings are planned to take place by the end of the year; on these occasions the Municipality of Trento will illustrate the progress made by the project in delivering smart solutions for urban mobility and will engage the citizens to participate in the activities related to QROWD.
